Faxon's Match Series of barrels takes our renowned performance and value up a notch.
Manufactured in-house from gun-barrel-quality bar-stock, the Match Series starts with 416-R in 5R rifling. 5R is a hybrid rifling, with lands opposite grooves and reduced sharp angles that reduces jacket deformation increasing velocity and easy cleaning. After rigorous testing, the barrels are Nitride treated inside and out, locking in the bore, improving barrel life, and keeping the elements at bay.
The extension is coated in a Nickel Teflon coating that maintains incredible dry lubricity, corrosion resistance, and with the coating, tightens up fit between the extension and receiver - again improving upon accuracy. Combined, the Match Series of barrels are ready for when duty calls or the buzzer beeps with unrivaled performance value.

Awesome barrel
I received my 16 inch 8.6 blackout barrel in just a few days after buying it. I added a gas tube and gas block to the order as well. Installation was a breeze. It looks amazing. I had already bought some 300gr SMK’s and dies before hand so I had ammo ready to go when the barrel showed up. Perfect reliability. Totally accurate and silent using just a Dead Air Wolfman 9mm silencer that I already had. I’m completely happy with the performance and looks of this barrel. Coincidentally I’m receiving some expanding subsonic 350gr and 220gr super expanding bullets from Maker today that I’m super excited to load and try out. What a rifle! I couldn’t be any happier with this purchase.
