All Faxon Glock 19 barrels fit Gen 2 through Gen 5, including the Gen 5 MOS. There is no separate Gen 5 product — every barrel on this page is compatible. Always confirm your generation before installing.

Will a Faxon Glock 19 barrel fit a Glock 19X?

Yes. The Glock 19X uses the same barrel dimensions as the Glock 19 Gen 5. All Faxon G19 barrels are compatible with the G19X. Threaded configurations will protrude past the slide at 4.470" OAL — this is normal and expected.

What is the barrel length on a Glock 19?

Faxon non-threaded G19 barrels have an overall length of 4.020 inches — the standard G19 barrel length. Threaded G19 barrels have an overall length of 4.470 inches, with the threaded muzzle protruding past the slide. This protrusion is normal with any threaded barrel installation.

What's the difference between Duty Series and Match Series?

The difference starts with the steel. Duty Series is machined from 4150 CMV carbon steel with a salt bath nitride finish — from $98. Match Series is machined from 416-R stainless steel with enhanced corrosion resistance, and adds fluting (Flame Fluted®, Spiral Fluted) and premium PVD finishes (TiN, Nickel, Chameleon) — from $120. Both use a 1:10 twist rate, SAAMI 9MM chamber spec, and identical hood geometry for true drop-in fit. Both backed by the Lifetime Guarantee.

Are Faxon threaded G19 barrels suppressor compatible?

Yes. Faxon threaded G19 barrels use 1/2×28 threading — compatible with most major suppressor brands and muzzle devices. The threaded barrel measures 4.470" OAL and will protrude past the slide. Do Faxon Glock 19 barrels require gunsmithing to install?

What is Flame Fluting® on a Glock 19 barrel?

Flame Fluting® is Faxon's patented barrel fluting pattern — a distinctive flame-shaped cut that removes material and adds visual character. On the G19 Match Series, the fluting runs approximately 1.9 inches along the barrel body. Available in nitride, TiN PVD, and Chameleon PVD finishes, in both threaded and non-threaded configurations. Does not affect function or accuracy.
