Faxon Match Series 6.5 Creedmoor AR-10 Barrels

Hornady designed 6.5 Creedmoor to keep long, high-BC 6.5 mm bullets inside short-action magazine length, which is exactly what an AR-10 needs. It runs on the standard .308 bolt and SR-25-pattern magazines and delivers flatter trajectories and less wind drift than .308 with less recoil. Faxon builds 5 Match Series 6.5 Creedmoor barrels (18″, 20″, 22″, 24″; 1:8 twist; $328–$339). Every Match Series barrel is machined from 416-R stainless, 5R button rifled, air gauged, stress relieved, 100% wet magnetic particle inspected, and salt-bath QPQ nitrided inside and out. Each ships with a nickel-Teflon (NP3) barrel extension installed, torqued to 150 ft-lb, pinned, and headspace checked 100%, and every one is full-auto capable. Faxon AR-15 and AR-10 barrels have been voted Favorite Aftermarket Barrel by Shooting Sports Retailer every year since 2022, the Gold Award.
