Faxon Match Series 300 Blackout AR-15 Barrels

300 Blackout was designed to do its work from a short barrel: it burns most of its powder in the first several inches, so subsonics give up very little velocity in a short, suppressed pistol or SBR, and supersonics stay useful for hunting. Faxon builds 5 Match Series 300 BLK barrels (6″, 7.5″, 9″, 10.5″; 1:5 / 1:8 twist; $188–$197). Every Match Series barrel is machined from 416-R stainless, 5R button rifled, air gauged, stress relieved, 100% wet magnetic particle inspected, and salt-bath QPQ nitrided inside and out. Each ships with a nickel-Teflon (NP3) barrel extension installed, torqued to 150 ft-lb, pinned, and headspace checked 100%, and every one is full-auto capable.
