The Faxon Duty Series 16" SOCOM 5.56 Complete Upper is a fully assembled, ready-to-install upper built for tactical, duty, training, and defensive use. The heavy SOCOM profile places mass forward to manage heat, reduce mirage, and deliver consistent accuracy even during high-volume or rapid strings of fire — perfect for law enforcement, home defense, competition prep, or rugged builds.
Core component is Faxon’s in-house button-rifled Duty Series 4150 CrMoV barrel (1:8 twist, stress-relieved, MPI-inspected, black nitride finish) paired with a mid-length gas system for softer recoil and reliable function. It includes a standard A2 Bird Cage Flash Hider (1/2×28), Faxon’s superfinished nitride M16 BCG, and a mil-spec charging handle — everything you need to mount and shoot once attached to your lower.
