The Faxon Duty Series 10.5" SOCOM 5.56 Complete Upper is a fully assembled, drop-in ready upper engineered for compact AR-15 pistols, braced builds, and short-barreled rifles in tactical, duty, and defensive applications. The heavy SOCOM profile provides forward mass to manage heat, reduce mirage, and deliver consistent accuracy during rapid or sustained fire — critical when barrel length is short and rates of fire are high.
Core is Faxon’s in-house button-rifled Duty Series 4150 CrMoV barrel (1:8 twist, stress-relieved, MPI-inspected, black nitride finish) with carbine-length gas system for dependable short-barrel function. It includes a standard A2 Bird Cage Flash Hider (1/2×28), Faxon’s superfinished nitride M16 BCG, and a mil-spec charging handle — everything needed to mount to your lower and start shooting.
