The Faxon Duty Series 16" Gunner 5.56 Complete Upper – Suppressor Ready is a duty-grade, turnkey upper receiver group engineered for reliable suppressed performance and hard use. Built around our proven 16" Duty Series Gunner Barrel and tuned with a Faxon patented adjustable gas block, this upper delivers smooth cycling and consistent function—ideal for training, defensive use, and suppressed setups.
Unlike a barreled upper, this is a complete upper and ships ready to run with a Faxon Superfinished M16 Bolt Carrier Group (Nitride) and a MIL-SPEC charging handle. Up front, a Faxon MuzzLok® Plan B™-compatible flash hider supports common Plan B™ mounting systems and makes this upper an excellent suppressor host.
Like all Faxon Firearms products, this upper is machined and assembled in-house at Faxon Firearms’ Greater Cincinnati, Ohio facility and backed by the Faxon Lifetime Guarantee.
What Makes This Upper “Suppressor Ready”?
Suppressor use can increase backpressure and change cycling dynamics. This upper addresses that head-on with a Faxon patented adjustable gas block, allowing you to tune gas flow for suppressed or unsuppressed use. Combined with the Duty Series Gunner barrel and mid-length gas system, it provides a balanced recoil impulse and a dependable operating window across a wide range of ammo.
