The Faxon 16″ 6mm ARC AR15 Rifle is Faxon’s direct-impingement AR-15 platform—designed and assembled in Greater Cincinnati, OH, and built outward from the same barrel pedigree that established Faxon as an industry-leading barrel manufacturer. This CNC Firearms exclusive pairs this rifle with a 16″ Gunner-profile barrel chambered in 6mm ARC at a 1:7.5″ twist, matched to a 15″ M-LOK aluminum free-float handguard and a full FDE furniture package.
The 6mm ARC (6mm Advanced Rifle Cartridge) is a SAAMI-standardized cartridge developed by Hornady in collaboration with U.S. Special Operations Command—engineered to deliver long-range precision performance from a standard AR-15 platform. It outranges 5.56×45mm NATO by a wide margin, maintains supersonic flight well past 1,000 yards with appropriate loads, and does all of it with the same manual of arms as any AR-15.
The furniture package is full FDE throughout: Die Free Co. Tiger Claw and Kung Fu Grip in Magpul-matched FDE, a Magpul DT MIL-SPEC stock in FDE, and a CMC drop-in trigger group for a clean, repeatable break. How This Build Comes Together
The Faxon 16″ 6mm ARC AR15 Rifle starts with Faxon’s AR-15 upper and lower receivers and builds outward from the barrel. At the center of this exclusive is Faxon’s 16″ Gunner-profile 6mm ARC barrel—a proprietary hybrid barrel profile that is heavier under the handguard for durability and stiffness, and relieves weight forward of the gas port for balance. Button-rifled, honed, and lapped at 1:7.5″ twist to stabilize the heavier, high-BC 6mm projectiles that make 6mm ARC effective at distance.
The furniture package is Die Free Co. and Magpul throughout in Magpul-matched FDE. The DFCO Tiger Claw and DFCO Kung Fu Grip bring Die Free Co.’s aggressive, high-traction FDE ergonomics to the handguard and pistol grip. The Magpul DT MIL-SPEC stock completes the color-matched FDE build on a standard MIL-SPEC buffer tube.
