Faxon Duty Series Threaded Barrel for G17 Gen 2-4 9mm Nitride
Faxon's Duty Series Pistol Barrels for G17 / Glock® 17 are machined 100% in-house from stress-relieved 4150 CMV steel. These barrels are then given a black Nitride coating to increase lubricity, barrel life, and resistance to surface wear. All barrels are conventionally rifled to allow a wider range of ammunition to be used, including cast lead. The barrels drop into factory-spec slides with no gunsmithing required. Better-than-factory tolerances ensure a consistent, tighter lockup than OEM.

G17 threaded duty barrel
This is my first Glock build. I never realized how easy it was to completely build one. Anyway, I've ordered, installed, and used four of Faxon's rifle barrels and am very pleased with their performance. So, why not try a pistol barrel? Very reasonably priced, the nitriding is GORGEOUS, and while I was nervous about compatibility between manufacturer slides and barrels, I was able to find out first hand that these ARE compatible with a GGP slide. I have an HK USP 9/40, and I'm enjoying my Glock much more than that chonk (I still love my USP don't get me wrong here). The performance was superb. No feed issues/stove piping, and as accurate as I am capable of - yes I am aware I need more time behind the pistol. Anyway, if you're on the fence, hop on over and pull the trigger on any of these barrels. You won't be disappointed! Also, I wanted to give a shout out to Dustin Wallace, as I was fortunate enough to email him any concerns with barrel-slide compatibility. They are compatible sir. Thank you for your time.
