The 6.5 Grendel delivers flat trajectories, high ballistic coefficients, and excellent energy retention out to 600+ yards — all with mild recoil — making this upper ideal for quiet varmint control, deer hunting, PRS-style competition, or any scenario needing accurate, suppressed performance.
Centered on Faxon’s Match Series Gunner profile barrel (button-rifled in-house, 1:8 twist, stress-relieved, MPI-inspected, Nickel Teflon extension for reliable feeding) with mid-length gas system and Faxon’s patented adjustable .750" low-profile gas block for precise tuning (suppressed/unsuppressed). It ships with Faxon’s MuzzLok® Plan B flash hider (5/8x24, .375" bore, stainless nitride) for effective flash suppression, repeatable timing (no shims), and direct HUB-mount suppressor compatibility.
