Yes. The FX-19-P-02 is a complete, serialized semi-automatic pistol. It ships with every component needed to fire, including two 15-round magazines, a removable RMR cover plate, a federally-required trigger lock, and the operator's manual. You will need to purchase 9mm Luger ammunition separately. All firearm purchases require transfer through a licensed FFL dealer.

Yes. The FX-19 Gen 2 frame is engineered from the ground up for full Glock® 19 Gen 3 holster, parts, and accessory compatibility. Your Glock® 19 Gen 3 duty holster, weapon-mounted lights, aftermarket triggers, sights, magazine releases, slide stops, and other Gen 3 aftermarket parts will work with the FX-19 Patriot. The pistol also accepts standard Glock® 19 magazines (10-round, 15-round, and extended capacities where legal).

Note: Glock® 19 Gen 4 / Gen 5 specific parts are not guaranteed to fit due to different frame rail and grip module geometry. The FX-19 Gen 2 frame matches Gen 3 dimensions specifically.

All FX-19 Gen 2 pistols share the same compact slide platform and Glock® 19 Gen 3 slide compatibility. The differences are in the frame (compact vs. full-size) and barrel/slide trim level:

• FX-19 Duty (FX-19-D-02) — Compact frame, Duty slide, Faxon Duty Series non-threaded barrel. 10+1 capacity. $850 MSRP. Most accessible price point.
• FX-19 Patriot Gen 2 (FX-19-P-02) — This pistol. Compact frame, Patriot slide, Match Series flame-fluted non-threaded barrel. 15+1 capacity. $999 MSRP. Refined daily driver.
• FX-19 Hellfire Gen 2 (FX-19-HF-02) — Compact frame, Hellfire slide, Match Series flame-fluted threaded barrel. 15+1 capacity. $1,050 MSRP. Most concealable suppressor-ready build.
• FX-19X Patriot (FX-19X-P-02) — Full-size frame, compact Patriot slide, Match Series non-threaded barrel. 17+1 capacity. $1,025 MSRP.
• FX-19X Hellfire (FX-19X-HF-02) — Full-size frame, compact Hellfire slide, Match Series flame-fluted threaded barrel. 17+1 capacity. $1,075 MSRP. Flagship of the lineup.

Both pistols share the same FX-19 Gen 2 compact frame, RMR-cut slide, Night Fision sights, and full Glock® 19 Gen 3 holster and parts compatibility. The Patriot adds three upgrades over the Duty:

• Match Series barrel — Tighter tolerances and improved accuracy compared to the Duty Series barrel.
• Refined Patriot slide — Cleaner linear lightening cuts and signature X-pattern aesthetics vs. the Duty slide.
• 15-round magazines — Ships with (2) 15-round mags vs. (2) 10-round mags on the Duty (15+1 vs. 10+1 capacity).

Pick the Duty if budget is the priority and you don't need the Match Series accuracy upgrade. Pick the Patriot if you want the upgraded barrel, refined slide, and full-capacity 15-round magazines for $149 more.

• FX-19 Patriot (this pistol) — Refined Patriot slide, non-threaded Match Series barrel, $999 MSRP. Cleaner aesthetics, no muzzle threading, the right pick if you don't plan to run a suppressor or compensator.
• FX-19 Hellfire — Aggressive Hellfire slide, 1/2x28 threaded Match Series barrel, $1,050 MSRP. Adds suppressor and compensator host capability, plus the bolder Hellfire slide profile, for $51 more.

Pick the Patriot if you want the cleaner aesthetic and don't need a threaded barrel. Pick the Hellfire if you plan to run a suppressor, compensator, or simply prefer the more aggressive slide.

The Patriot slide is factory-cut for the Trijicon RMR® footprint, which is one of the most widely supported optic patterns on the market. Compatible optics include the Trijicon RMR / RMRcc, Holosun 507C / 508T / 407C, and any other red dot using the standard RMR footprint.

The slide ships with a removable cover plate installed — just remove the cover plate screws, lift it off, and install your optic. Use the Night Fision® Optics-Ready Stealth Series rear sight for lower 1/3 co-witness with any RMR-footprint optic.

Important: Some mounting screws supplied with RMR-footprint optics may be too long and impinge on the extractor spring rod. Verify the extractor moves freely after installing your optic and use shorter screws or a thin shim if needed.

The FX-19 Patriot ships with the Faxon Match Series Flame-Fluted Barrel for G19 Gen 2-5 9mm in non-threaded configuration — the same Match Series barrel we sell as a drop-in upgrade for stock Glock® 19 Gen 3 pistols. It's machined in-house in Cincinnati, Ohio from 416-R stainless steel (the premium match-grade stainless used in high-end precision rifle barrels) and finished with a durable QPQ nitride treatment inside and out for additional hardness, wear resistance, and long service life.

Compared to our Duty Series barrel (used in the FX-19 Duty), the Match Series adds tighter tolerances for improved accuracy and flame fluting for weight reduction and improved heat dissipation. Compared to a factory polygonal-rifled Glock® barrel, the Faxon Match Series barrel uses conventional rifling, which is generally regarded as more forgiving with lead and reloaded ammunition.
