Machined in-house from 4150 CMV, button rifled in a versatile 1:8 twist, and salt bath nitride treated inside & out for corrosion and wear resistance. Every Duty barrel is stress relieved, air-gauge tested, magnetic particle inspected, and individually headspace verified for safety and consistency.

Its Gunner profile keeps strength where it counts—behind the gas block—while trimming forward weight for quick target-to-target transitions. With 4150 CMV steel, button rifling, and a 1:8 twist, this barrel supports common 300 BLK projectiles from light supersonic to heavy subsonic loads.
Finished in salt bath nitride inside and out, the barrel resists wear and corrosion and cleans easily after high round counts. Every Faxon Duty barrel is stress relieved, air-gauge tested, magnetic particle inspected, and individually headspace checked before leaving our Cincinnati facility. The pistol-length gas system, .750" journal, and 5/8x24 muzzle threads integrate seamlessly with today’s .30-caliber devices and suppressor mounts—making this 7.5" 300 BLK an exceptional foundation for a compact defensive, training, or range build.
