The Faxon RemAge® 22" .308 Winchester M24 Profile Barrel is engineered for shooters who demand repeatable precision, durability, and seamless compatibility with modern Remington 700–pattern bolt actions. Featuring Faxon’s proven RemAge® system, this barrel allows for precise headspacing while maintaining exceptional rigidity and long-range accuracy.

Starting from premium 416R stainless steel, each barrel is 5R button rifled, honed and lapped, and magnetic particle inspected. The M24 contour provides increased stiffness and thermal stability, while the QPQ salt bath nitride finish enhances barrel life, corrosion resistance, and ease of cleaning.

    I picked up this barrel as an economical way to try my hand at swapping barrels in my garage on an older R700. I’m beyond stoked with how it turned out, as this barrel shoots better than the previous factory 5R barrel I had with most ammo, and by quite a bit. It cleans amazingly easy. Just a few patches of boretech eliminator and the thing is spotless. Probably the best money I’ve spent on my shooting hobby! The finish appeared “dry” when I got it, but a few wipe downs with gun oil during cleanings and people at the range have actually commented on how good it looks.
