The Tiger Claw is an angled foregrip and hand stop — not a vertical foregrip. Under ATF guidance, a vertical foregrip attached to a pistol-configuration firearm can change its legal classification. An angled foregrip that does not extend more than 90 degrees from the bore axis is generally not treated as a vertical foregrip for NFA purposes, which means it is commonly used on pistol-configuration AR-pattern firearms without reclassification concerns. That said, regulations can change and interpretations vary — if you are building a pistol-configuration firearm, verify current ATF guidance or consult a qualified attorney before adding any foregrip accessory.

A hand stop gives your support hand a consistent reference point on the handguard, which makes your grip position repeatable from shot to shot and from draw to draw. Without a reference point, the hand can migrate forward or backward on the handguard between repetitions, especially under stress or fatigue. The Tiger Claw’s angled face also actively indexes the hand in a mechanically advantageous position, directing the support arm’s force rearward into the shoulder rather than letting it float. For most shooters, even a small, compact hand stop like this delivers a measurable improvement in both muzzle control and consistency compared to a bare handguard.

The Tiger Claw mounts using the M-LOK slot standard, which is compatible with virtually every current M-LOK-marked handguard on the market. As long as your handguard has an available M-LOK slot in the position where you want the grip — typically on the underside or at the 4 or 8 o’clock position for most shooters — the Tiger Claw will install and function correctly. It is not compatible with KeyMod or Picatinny-only handguards without an adapter.
