The Radian Raptor LT Charging Handle applies the same patented ambidextrous latch architecture as the original Raptor in a lighter, more cost-effective package built around a hybrid construction approach. The body is machined from 7075-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum and finished with Mil-Spec Type III hard anodize, then the latches are overmolded with high-strength fiberglass-reinforced polymer — a process that bonds the polymer directly to the aluminum latch substrate to produce a latch that is lighter than all-metal while retaining the structural integrity needed for repeated, forceful manipulation.
The resulting handle weighs just 0.17 lb while delivering the large-latch ambidextrous platform that defines the Raptor line. Both left and right latches are full-size and mechanically equal, giving right- and left-handed shooters the same fast access to the charging handle without cross-body reach or grip adjustment.
