When will my order ship?
Trusted Distribution Partner items typically ship within 1–3 business days from our partner's warehouse, separate from any Faxon-fulfilled items in your order. Transit times depend on the carrier and destination.
Will tracking come from Faxon?
Yes — you'll receive a tracking notification from Faxon Firearms when your partner-shipped item leaves the warehouse. If your order also contains Faxon-fulfilled items, you'll receive separate tracking for each shipment.
Can I combine this with other Faxon items in one shipment?
No. Items marked Trusted Distribution Partner ship from a different warehouse than Faxon-fulfilled items and will arrive separately. Each shipment has its own tracking and may arrive on different days.
How do returns work for partner-shipped items?
Returns for Trusted Distribution Partner items are handled by Faxon Customer Service rather than through our standard self-service portal, so we can coordinate the return with our partner on your behalf.

MAGPUL MOE K2+ AR PISTOL GRIP FLAT DARK EARTH (FDE) — MAG532FDE
The Magpul MOE K2+ AR Pistol Grip Flat Dark Earth (FDE) (MAG532FDE) addresses one of the most overlooked ergonomic details on the AR-15: grip angle. The standard A2 grip has a relatively shallow angle that positions the wrist at an awkward bend on standard-length rifles — and becomes increasingly uncomfortable on shorter, compact, or PDW-style builds where the stock is collapsed and the primary hand moves in closer to the body. The K2+ corrects this with a more vertical grip angle that straightens the wrist, reduces fatigue, and puts the trigger finger in a more natural position relative to the trigger.
The grip body combines a reinforced polymer structure with wrap-around rubber overmolding for positive weapon control in wet, cold, and adverse conditions where bare polymer can become slick. The aggressive TSP (Triangular Serration Pattern) texture adds a secondary tactile surface for purchase without the sharp edges that cause fatigue on extended range sessions. The unique backstrap geometry naturally aligns the hand so your trigger finger indexes correctly on the trigger bow without having to consciously adjust your grip every time the rifle comes up.
Inside the grip body, a hollow cavity accepts Magpul's optional Storage Cores for stowing batteries, a basic cleaning kit, or other small items. A basic grip cap is included to close the cavity. All mounting hardware needed for installation is included. At 3.1 oz and made in the USA, the K2+ is a direct drop-in replacement for any standard AR-15/M4 pistol grip with a meaningful ergonomic payoff for PDW builds, SBRs, and any shooter who wants a more natural wrist position on their AR.
✔ Best for: PDW and short-barreled AR-15 builds, SBRs, shooters who prefer a vertical grip angle, those who run a short collapsed length of pull, and anyone upgrading from an A2 grip for better ergonomics and weapon control
✘ Not for: Shooters who specifically prefer the traditional shallow A2 grip angle; note that on some AR-10/SR25 pattern rifles the grip may leave a small aesthetic gap at the beavertail — this does not affect function
? Note: Pistol grips are not regulated components and require no FFL transfer. Magpul Storage Cores are sold separately. Verify local laws regarding short-barreled rifle configurations before building.
Key Features
- More Vertical Grip Angle — PDW and Short-LOP Optimized — The K2+ positions the hand at a straighter wrist angle than a standard A2 grip. On compact PDW builds, SBRs, and rifles shot with a short collapsed stock, this reduces wrist bend and fatigue while putting the trigger finger in a more natural firing position. It is a geometry change that makes a tangible difference in how the rifle feels on short-LOP configurations.
- Wrap-Around Rubber Overmolding — The rubber overmolding wraps around the grip body rather than covering only the front or sides, ensuring positive contact and control from any hand position. In wet, cold, and gloved conditions where bare polymer loses grip, the overmolding maintains purchase.
- Aggressive TSP Texture — Triangular Serration Pattern texture on the grip surfaces provides additional traction without sharp points that cause hot spots or fatigue during extended shooting. The texture works in combination with the overmolding rather than replacing it.
- Unique Backstrap Design — The backstrap geometry naturally aligns the hand so your trigger finger contacts the trigger face in the correct position without manual adjustment. This improves consistency in grip-to-grip repeatability and reduces the micro-corrections that introduce shot variation.
- Storage Core Compatible — An internal hollow cavity accepts Magpul's optional Storage Cores, which allow you to store batteries, a small cleaning tool, or other compact items inside the grip body. A basic grip cap is included to close the cavity when no Storage Core is installed.
- Reinforced Polymer with Hard Bottom Edge — The main grip body is reinforced polymer for structural rigidity. The bottom edge — the area most exposed to impacts when the rifle is set down — is hard polymer without overmolding for durability and impact resistance.
- Hardware Included — Made in USA — All mounting hardware required for installation is included. Magpul manufactures the K2+ in the United States.

Frequently Asked Questions
What makes the K2+ grip angle different from a standard A2 grip?
The A2 grip uses a relatively shallow, rearward-raked angle that was designed for a rifle with a fixed stock shot from a standing position at a normal length of pull. This angle puts the wrist in a slight bend that becomes more pronounced on shorter builds where the stock is collapsed. The K2+ uses a more vertical angle that straightens the wrist, bringing it closer to the natural position of the hand when relaxed. On a standard-length rifle the difference is noticeable; on a PDW, SBR, or any rifle shot with a collapsed stock, the ergonomic improvement is significant. Shooters with smaller hands often find the K2+ more comfortable on any AR-15 length, not just compact configurations.
What is the difference between the MOE K2 and the MOE K2+?
Both the K2 and K2+ use the same more-vertical grip angle and overmolded rubber construction. The difference is overall size: the K2 is a smaller, more compact grip intended for truly minimalist PDW builds where every fraction of an inch of length of pull matters. The K2+ is full-size — it has the same vertical angle as the K2 but in a grip that fills the hand like a normal AR pistol grip. The K2+ is the better choice for most shooters; the K2 is for those specifically building the most compact possible configuration.
What are Magpul Storage Cores and do I need one?
Magpul Storage Cores are optional inserts that fit inside the hollow cavity in the K2+ grip body. They include configurations for storing a CR123A battery, AA battery, and a basic core for general small items. The K2+ ships with a basic grip cap that seals the cavity without a Storage Core. Storage Cores are sold separately. Most shooters use the basic cap and never need a Storage Core — it is a convenience feature, not a functional requirement.
Will the K2+ fit my AR-10 or AR-308 lower receiver?
Yes, the K2+ fits AR-10 and SR25 pattern lower receivers that use a standard pistol grip screw pattern. However, Magpul notes that depending on the specific make of AR-10/SR25 lower, the grip's beavertail area may leave a small visible gap between the grip and the receiver. This is an aesthetic issue only and does not affect the function, security, or reliability of the grip installation.
What hardware is needed for installation and is it included?
All mounting hardware — grip screw and lock washer — is included in the package. No additional hardware is required. Installation involves removing your existing grip screw, pulling the old grip off, seating the K2+ over the lower receiver's grip tenon, and threading in the included screw. The process takes two to three minutes with a flathead screwdriver or grip tool.
What is TSP texture?
TSP stands for Triangular Serration Pattern — Magpul's aggressive grip texture that uses small triangular raised points arranged in a regular pattern across the grip surface. It provides more positive traction than smooth polymer or simple checkering, particularly with gloves, in wet conditions, or when the hand is sweaty. The triangular geometry is aggressive enough for real purchase without the sharp edges found on some aftermarket grip tapes or stippling jobs that cause hot spots during extended range sessions.
