Faxon’s Match Series pistol barrels for Glock® G48 are machined 100% in-house from stress-relieved 416-R stainless steel. These barrels are then given a black Nitride or PVD coating to increase lubricity, barrel life, and resistance to surface wear. All barrels are conventionally rifled to allow a wider range of ammunition to be used, including cast lead. The barrels drop into factory-spec slides with no gunsmithing required. Better-than-factory tolerances ensure a consistent, tighter lockup than OEM.

I have not installed the barrel yet, however the quality is excellent. I have no doubt that it will work well.

A threaded barrel!!
First thing to be notice was how much lighter this barrel is than factory, to be expected. Nice dark finish and shot well. I ran a 100 rounds of Fiocchi 115gr hard ball at 1200fps and it ran fine. This g48 is my carry but it may get more upgrades going forwad. Well it went bag!! Also the people at Faxon are great, Thanks all.
