Excellent product product, it is equal to all other out but there bar none.

Finish on this bolt is second to none.
I love this bolt and how perfectly smooth the coating is. Compared to my TiN bolt it isn't quite as wet or slippery but I know it won't get stained like that bolt will. Only used the bolt a little but it ran great surpressed even dry out of the box. I'm impressed!

I am in the process of building 2 Ars atm, I have purchased this BCG and comparing the fit and finish to a griffin armament BCG, they are very similar in fit and finish. The melonite finish is a little flat in color compared to the one pictured, it is not a gloss finished BCG. Will be firing this soon.

Solid beautiful BCG
I ordered this BCG because Faxon takes great pride in their products, The BCG was installed into my 3 gun competition AR with Faxon's 18 inch QPQ barrel. My first impression was that the QPQ nitrite finish was beautiful, their were no tool marks to be found. I proceeded to disassemble the BCG to apply a light oiling of the bolt rings and to do a general prep for the break in process, the bolt was also very well finished. Once reassembled I gauged the head space it was spot on so I applied a light oiling of the carrier and finished the install. Once at the range I ran 5 round intermediate speed round dispersion through 2 full 30 round magazines. Once the bcg had passed my intermediate testing I proceeded to put 600 rounds down range no failures at all. All rounds properly cycled and ejected. Following my 600 round test I followed up with the final test rapid mag dumps 400 rounds worth no failures. I then happily went home and cleaned my BCG and rifle and competed in a 3 gun competition in southern Colorado and took home some cash and still no failures. Needless to say I am very impressed with this BCG it runs perfect and I would recommend it to anyone. Great job Faxon.

Excellent choice
Right out of the box..you can see the beautiful QPQ finish was perfect..not a flaw anywhere. Only gave it 4stars because I'm in the middle of my build. Which I also mated this BCG up with a 16 Gunner..it also was flawless. Can't wait to get my build done and shoot it.Updates will be coming in soon. Stay tuned.
