The Faxon RemAge® 12" 8.6 Blackout barrel is built for compact, suppressed bolt-action setups that demand modern 8.6 BLK performance. Developed in partnership with Q, the aggressive 1:3 twist rate is engineered to stabilize heavy 8.6 projectiles and harness rotational energy for consistent subsonic and supersonic performance.
Starting with 416-R stainless steel, each barrel is fully stress relieved, air-gauge tested, magnetic particle inspected (MPI), and finished with a durable salt bath nitride (QPQ) treatment inside and out. A crisp 11° target crown supports repeatable accuracy.

Is this barrel suppressor-ready?
Yes. The barrel uses M18x1.5 muzzle threads with a tapered shoulder. A taper adapter is included for proper mounting.
Can I use semi-auto 8.6 ammo in a bolt gun?
Some semi-auto loads use harder primers. In bolt-action rifles this can increase the chance of light primer strikes. Confirm primer hardness and function before relying on any ammunition.

12” 8.6 Blk remake barrel
I purchased this to replace a 308 barrel in a Remington 700CP pistol. The barrel is amazingly accurate. The first 9 shots (3 groups of 3 shots) as I sighted in the rifle result in three sub MOA groups at 100 yards using Gorilla 210gr TSX ammo. I was not expecting this type of performance from such a short barrel. I highly recommend the barrel.
