Faxon’s Match Series pistol barrels for Glock® G43 are machined in-house from stress-relieved 416-R stainless steel. These barrels are then given a black Nitride or PVD coating to increase lubricity, barrel life, and resistance to surface wear. All barrels are conventionally rifled to allow a wider range of ammunition to be used, including cast lead. The barrels drop into factory-spec slides with no gunsmithing required. Better-than-factory tolerances ensure a consistent, tighter lockup than OEM.

Top-tier Steel
This is a beautifully machined barrel with a finish that looks like satin (Nitride). Lock-up is very tight. The milling of the hood removes a lot of area that usually comes in contact with the slide, so the action is great. The thread protector is more aggressive than the G19 tear-drop threaded barrel Faxon offers. It is no longer reversible as one side is milled out to accommodate the included o-ring. Barrel is more accurate than I am, as most are, so not much to say there. This is honestly the best pistol barrel that money can buy.
