Overview
The Faxon EXOS-524 pistol compensator is engineered and tested for the Smith & Wesson M&P® Shield family of pistols, including the Shield 1.0, Shield 2.0, and Shield Plus. Machined from 6061 aluminum and finished in black anodize, the EXOS-524 uses a single-chamber design with uniquely angled ports to help reduce muzzle climb and manage felt recoil while maintaining consistent cycling characteristics on properly configured hosts.

Easy to install. Definitely a noticeable difference with match series fluted barrel.

M&P Shield compensator
This is a game changer for the shield platform. Such flat shooting, makes it feel like a whole new gun. HOWEVER, after putting a couple hundred rounds thru it, the recoil spring for my shield plus exploded. Not sure if the new comp caused the issue, this recoil spring style is kind of a bad design, and could have failed anyway. But it is possible the new system I have going on caused it. Hard to say.

I would say that I take away more than 50 percent of the recoil, it's incredible.

This is an incredible buy, not only does it look great but it functions flawlessly. The price point is fair and I have purchased multiple compensators from faxon.
