Overview
The Faxon EXOS-515 pistol compensator is engineered for the SIG® P320 Full-Size platform to improve consistency through controlled gas redirection. Machined from 6061 aluminum and finished in black anodize, the EXOS-515 uses a single-chamber design with uniquely angled ports to help reduce muzzle climb and felt recoil while supporting stable cycling behavior across properly configured hosts.

Worked as Advertised
Howdy, so I picked this up because I was building a compact slide on a full size grip module. Mates up really well to the slide I got, and did a really good job of getting the gun back on target quickly. I think adding a percentage of recoil reduction is way too subjective, so I’ll just say that it felt a lot more like shooting a 380 or even a 32 ACP than shooting a 9mm. It works really well and looks good too.

Excellent quality
I’m not sure what exactly I was expecting but this comp is such an amazing piece. I haven’t had the opportunity to fire my P320 with the comp yet but it’s such a solid, quality addition to the gun. The fit and finish are impeccable. For reference, I have a P320 XCarry, NSF edition, and there’s virtually no gap between it and the slide.

p320 compact
Fits perfect on my sig p320 compact. i have faxons threaded barrel and dpm recoil spring. fixed the misalignment of the recoil spring issue when servicing the slide for just general cleaning. great product from faxon as always.

Haven’t installed it yet on my pistol but the quality and what the functionality of the compensator, I have no doubt it’ll work perfectly.

Does the job
This is a well built and effective comp that also looks good on a P320. Actual install is easy if you understand the concept of righty-tighty, but I highly recommend you test fire (then clean the comp and barrel threads again) before you use the red Loctite to make the installation semi-permanent. Breaking the comp lose after the Loctite sets is not going to be fun, so that's why it's a good idea to make sure you have full function and no cycling issues first. Only (minor) downside with this, if you run a Safariland 7x holster, you'll need to remove the barrel plug in the bottom of the holster for clearance, but that's an easy modification.

Noticeable reduction in muzzle flip
Well engineered and quick and easy install. The finish and fit was great installed on my SIG P320. The contours of the compensator also aligned well with the SIG factory slide causing no drag on my holster when drawing my gun.

Faxon Barrel and Compensator
I purchased this barrel and the Faxon Sig Compensator for a P320 Full-size build using a Wilson Combat full size grip module, Sig Custom Works FCU and a Full Size P320 slide. I added a Springer Precision Tungsten guide rod and a 14LB spring. The barrel drops in perfectly and with the 14LB spring the pistol runs flawlessly. The pistol is loud but shoots so softly its like shooting a .22 This combo is absolutely the fastest flat shootingest gun in my safe. I consistently shoot better with this than my Legion X Five. I give the barrel compensator combination my highest recommendation. If you're looking for drop in convenience, fantastic finish and precious accuracy order one of the these compensators. You will not be disappointed!
