Faxon's invented "MuzzLok" feature on this device allows for easy timing and installation of your device without the need for a crush washer or shims. By using the extension nut to adjust the length of the device, you can adjust the rotational timing. It is recommended that you tighten the device to the recommended torque specification of 20-25 foot pounds. By not having to overcome the resistance of the crush washer, this allows devices to be removed and reinstalled in the field if desired.

I haven’t shot through it yet but it sure seems like a great concept for a muzzle device and not having to deal with a crush washer.

Awesome flash hider! Very well made, easy to install and looks great to boot. I would recommend this to anyone looking for an upgrade from your standard bird cage.

Needs More Attention to Detail
There is a lot to like about this product, most notably the reasons it was designed to allow easy access to your muzzle for cleaning and maintenance. My unit came with badly fouled threads. It looks like they were not properly cleaned prior to finishing. Barely got it on one barrel and it was a no go on another (by hand). Had to use a tap to clean it up. Can't imagine that anyone inspected / tested this unit prior to shipping.
