Faxon Firearms Is Hiring: CNC Machinist and Machine Operator Jobs in Fairfield, Ohio
Faxon Firearms is hiring full-time CNC machinists and machine operators at our manufacturing facility in Fairfield, Ohio (Greater Cincinnati). The parts we make serve civilian shooters, law enforcement, and the American Warfighter. We have eight open positions across first and second shift, from entry-level machine operator to multi-axis Mazak Integrex operator. Every role is on site, full time, and the application takes about three minutes.

What You Will Make
Founded in 2012, Faxon Firearms manufactures firearms and firearm components in Fairfield, Ohio. Our machinists produce rifle and pistol barrels, receivers, and precision components that ship to shooters, dealers, and OEM customers across the country. The parts you run here carry tight tolerances, and you will see the finished product on store shelves and at the range.
Parts for the American Warfighter
Some of what comes off our machines never reaches a store shelf. Faxon Firearms also manufactures defense parts for the American Warfighter. Which Role Fits You
New to machining: Machine Operator
The Machine Operator role is our entry point. You need a high school diploma or GED, some manufacturing or machining experience, basic math, and the ability to use calipers and read simple prints. You will load and unload parts, run production machines, perform in-process inspections, and deburr parts. The role is built for someone who wants to be trained up into CNC operation and setup.
Some CNC experience: CNC Lathe Operator and CNC Mill Operator
Our CNC Lathe Operator and CNC Mill Operator positions are open on both first and second shift. They call for at least six months of CNC mill or lathe operation and setup experience, familiarity with micrometers and calipers, and the ability to read blueprints. G-code and M-code familiarity is a plus. Mill operators run both horizontal and vertical CNC machines. You will run production lots, inspect and document your parts, and handle routine machine maintenance.
Experienced machinists: Live Tool Lathe and Mazak Integrex
The CNC Live Tool Lathe Operator sets up and runs Doosan CNC lathes with live tooling, Y-axis, and Fanuc controls. You will read GD&T, set offsets, make minor G-code edits, and work with programming, engineering, and quality on process improvements. Two or more years of CNC lathe experience is preferred, and sub-spindle experience is a plus. Open on first and second shift.
The Mazak Integrex Operator sets up, operates, and maintains Mazak Integrex multi-axis CNC machines. We are looking for at least two years on Integrex or similar multi-axis equipment, working knowledge of Mazatrol programming, and the ability to interpret complex blueprints and work with minimal supervision.
