The Faxon Patriot Complete Slide (G19BCPRMR-01-C-01) is a pre-assembled, drop-in complete slide for Glock® 19 Gen 3 and FX-19 Gen 2 frames. It ships with a Faxon Match Series Flame Fluted® non-threaded barrel already installed, Night Fision® Optics-Ready Stealth Series night sights set in place, and the optic cut covered by a billet aluminum cover plate. The Patriot slide adds enhanced front, rear, and top serrations — the three-surface grip coverage that distinguishes it from the Hellfire and Duty profiles — and has posts milled into the optic cut for optic alignment and recoil absorption. At $375.00 and with no threading required, the Patriot is the Match Series barrel upgrade for carry builds that don’t need a muzzle device.

Optic Mounting Note — Check Extractor After Installing a Red Dot

Some mounting screws supplied with Trijicon RMR® and Holosun 507C optics are longer than necessary for this slide and may impinge on the extractor spring rod. After mounting any optic to the Patriot slide, verify that the extractor is moving freely and is not binding before use. Use shorter screws if binding is present.

Enhanced Front, Rear & Top Serrations

The Patriot slide is the only slide in the Faxon complete slide lineup with top serrations in addition to front and rear. Top serrations provide additional purchase for press-checks and manipulation in challenging conditions, particularly for support-hand-only manipulations. The three-surface serration pattern is the Patriot slide’s defining visual and functional feature at any distance.

Posts Milled into Optic Cut — Alignment and Recoil Absorption

The Patriot’s RMR / Holosun 507C optic cut includes posts milled directly into the cut that serve dual purposes: they ensure consistent optic alignment during installation and provide mechanical support that helps absorb recoil forces transmitted to the optic. This is a slide-level feature not present on all optic-ready platforms, and it matters for shooters who put significant round counts through their optics.

Billet Aluminum Cover Plate

The Patriot slide ships with a billet aluminum cover plate for the optic cut — a step above the standard stamped or polymer plates found on many optic-ready slides. The billet aluminum plate is more rigid and sits more securely, reducing the chance of movement or rattle when running irons. Remove it when you’re ready to mount your red dot. No additional parts required for the transition.

Match Series Flame Fluted® Barrel — Non-Threaded

The Faxon Match Series Flame Fluted® barrel (GB910N19LGQ-N) is pre-installed: 4.02”, machined in-house from stress-relieved 416-R stainless steel, conventional button-rifled 1:10 twist, 11° target crown, and salt bath nitrided inside and out. This is the same barrel Faxon sells as a $120 standalone drop-in barrel upgrade, factory-installed here with the Patriot slide and Night Fision® sights already matched. Non-threaded; the correct choice for standard carry builds without a muzzle device.

Patriot vs. Hellfire — Same Price, Different Mission

Both the Patriot and Hellfire Complete Slides are $375.00 and use the same Match Series flame-fluted 416-R stainless barrel with Night Fision® sights and an RMR optic cut. The difference is threading and slide character: the Hellfire barrel is threaded 1/2×28 for suppressors and EXOS® compensators; the Patriot barrel is non-threaded. The Patriot slide adds top serrations and a billet aluminum cover plate. If you don’t need a muzzle device, the Patriot gives you the same Match Series barrel quality with more serration coverage and a more refined carry-focused build.

Does this require an FFL transfer?

No. The Faxon Patriot Complete Slide is a pistol component, not a serialized firearm. It ships directly to your door without an FFL transfer. Verify local laws before ordering.

What optics fit the Patriot slide?

The Patriot slide is milled for both the Trijicon RMR® footprint and the Holosun 507C footprint. Compatible optics include the Trijicon RMR (Type 1 and Type 2), Holosun 507C, Holosun 508T, and other optics built to either footprint standard. Remove the billet aluminum cover plate before mounting. Important: some mounting screws included with these optics may be too long and impinge on the extractor spring rod — verify that the extractor moves freely after mounting and use shorter screws if binding is present.

What are the posts in the optic cut for?

The Patriot slide has posts machined into the optic cut that serve two functions: they index the optic into a consistent position during mounting for repeatable alignment, and they provide mechanical surfaces that help absorb rearward recoil forces transmitted from the slide to the optic body. This reduces the load on the mounting screws alone, which can extend optic retention under high round counts.

Is the barrel pre-installed, and can I run a suppressor or compensator?

Yes, the Faxon Match Series Flame Fluted® barrel is pre-installed in the slide. It is non-threaded, which means suppressors and compensators cannot be mounted directly without a barrel swap. If you need threading for a suppressor or the Faxon EXOS® compensator, the Hellfire Complete Slide (G19BCHFRMR-01-C-01) includes the same barrel profile in the threaded 1/2×28 version at the same price.

What makes the Patriot slide serrations different?

The Patriot slide has enhanced serrations on three surfaces: front, rear, and top. Most slides, including the Faxon Duty and Hellfire, feature front and rear serrations only. Top serrations add a third purchase surface that aids in press-checks and support-hand manipulations, particularly in gloves or wet conditions. The top serration pattern is a distinctive visual and tactile feature of the Patriot profile.

What frames does this slide fit?

The Patriot Complete Slide is designed for Glock® 19 Gen 3 frames and Faxon FX-19 Gen 2 frames. It is not compatible with Glock® 19 Gen 4 or Gen 5 frames, or other Glock® sizes (17, 26, 43, 48).

Does the barrel support cast lead ammunition?

Yes. The Match Series Flame Fluted® barrel uses conventional button rifling, which is fully compatible with cast lead bullets as well as all standard jacketed ammunition. The 1:10 twist rate and 11° target crown are optimized for 9mm Luger accuracy.
