The Faxon 9310 6.8 SPC / .224 Valkyrie Bolt (.125) – Nitride is a premium AR-15 replacement bolt built for reliability, durability, and consistent extraction. Seeing “MIL-SPEC” as just the starting point, Faxon uses 9310 tool steel, enhanced inspection, and a corrosion-resistant finish to create a bolt that’s ready for hard use.
Each bolt is fully Magnetic Particle Inspected (MPI) to help ensure the material is sound and free from defects. The bolt receives a salt bath nitride treatment to increase surface hardness, decrease resistance, and provide superior corrosion resistance compared to typical phosphate finishes. Bolt lugs are chamfered to promote reliable cycling—even with higher-pressure loads and fast actions.
The extractor is manufactured from S7 tool steel and assembled with a spring, silicone insert, and “Crane” O-ring to support consistent extraction. Designed around a .125 bolt face, this bolt is compatible with AR-15 barrels chambered in 6.8 SPC and .224 Valkyrie that use the .125 bolt specification.
