1/2x28 Threads Crush Washer Muzzle Device Timing
The Faxon 1/2" Crush Washer for 1/2x28 Threaded Barrels is the washer that lets you time a conventional muzzle device — a flash hider, brake, or compensator — on a 1/2"–28 threaded barrel. As the device is tightened, the washer compresses so the device can be clocked to the correct position.
Crush washers are single-use: replace the washer whenever you remove and reinstall a muzzle device. Faxon MuzzLok® muzzle devices don’t need one — they install without shims or crush washers.

What barrels does it fit? ▾
Barrels with 1/2"–28 muzzle threads, common on 5.56/.223 AR-15 barrels and many 9mm barrels.
Can I reuse a crush washer? ▾
No. Once it has been crushed it won’t time a device correctly again. Use a new washer every install.
Do Faxon MuzzLok® devices need a crush washer? ▾
No. MuzzLok® devices install without shims or crush washers.
