The Faxon FX7 Prefit 18" .308 Winchester Gunner barrel is built for shooters who want a compact, versatile bolt-action setup with classic .308 performance. Designed as a prefit barrel engineered for the Faxon FX7 action, the Gunner contour balances handling, stiffness, and practical weight for field carry and range time.
Starting with 416-R stainless steel, the bore is 5R button rifled, then honed & lapped for a smooth internal finish and consistent performance. A salt bath nitride (QPQ) finish improves corrosion resistance and helps reduce fouling. Each barrel is Magnetic Particle Inspected (MPI) and finished with a recessed target crown to protect accuracy at the muzzle.
