Faxon Match Series 8.6 Blackout barrels are precision-engineered AR-10 barrels designed specifically for heavy-projectile, subsonic and suppressed applications. Manufactured in-house from premium 416-R stainless steel, each barrel features 5R rifling to reduce jacket deformation, a recessed 11-degree target crown for consistent bullet release, and a nickel-Teflon® coated barrel extension for smooth, repeatable lockup.
Every Match Series barrel is fully machined and stress relieved in Faxon’s Greater Cincinnati facility, air gauge inspected for bore uniformity, and 100% magnetic particle inspected to verify material integrity after machining. A salt bath nitride finish enhances corrosion resistance and durability without sacrificing precision. Offered in Flame Fluted® profiles with a fast 1:3 twist rate, Match Series 8.6 Blackout barrels deliver exceptional accuracy, stability, and reliability for modern AR-10 builds.
