Faxon Firearms Announces Acquisition of Houlding Precision Firearms

Cincinnati, OH (March. 2015) – Faxon Firearms, the manufacturer of the ARAK platform, is proud to announce the acquisition of Houlding Precision Firearms of Madera, California. Faxon Firearms will continue the Houlding Precision Firearms brand and will assume the manufacturing of Houlding Precision Firearms’ products.

Under the terms of the agreement, Houlding Precision Firearms is moving its operations to Faxon's corporate facility in Cincinnati, OH. Todd Houlding, founder of Houlding Precision Firearms, will be joining Faxon Firearms as the Principal Engineering & Programming Manager.

The acquisition of Houlding Precision Firearms will add billet AR-15s (traditional and carbon fiber models), along with programming to Faxon’s established MuzzLok®, BackStrap safety and ARAK® platforms. Other new products for both the AR-15 and ARAK platform are currently in development.

During the move, most Houlding Precision Firearms’ products will be unavailable for purchase. Faxon Firearms expects to resume normal operations and shipment of Houlding Precision Firearms’ products during Q2 of this year.
