The Faxon Duty Complete Slide (G19BCDRMR-01-C-01) is the factory-assembled slide sub-assembly from the FX-19 Duty Compact pistol, sold as a standalone drop-in upgrade for your Glock® 19 Gen 3 or FX-19 Gen 2 frame. It ships ready to drop onto your existing frame with the Faxon Duty Series 4” barrel already installed, Night Fision® Optics-Ready Stealth Series night sights set in place, and the Trijicon RMR® footprint optic cut covered and ready. This is not a slide kit requiring separate sourcing — it is the complete, pre-assembled slide that ships in every Faxon FX-19 Duty pistol, available now as a component upgrade with no FFL transfer required.

The Duty Series barrel for Glock® 19 Gen 2–5 is machined in-house at Faxon from 4150 CMV steel, QPQ nitrided inside and out, and installed in this slide from the factory. If you bought a Faxon Duty Series barrel as a drop-in upgrade for a stock Glock® 19 Gen 3, this is that exact barrel — already there when the slide ships. Non-threaded; accepts 9mm Luger ammunition.
Genuine Night Fision® Optics-Ready Stealth Series night sights come installed on the slide: tritium front, lower 1/3 co-witness rear sized for any Trijicon RMR®-footprint optic. These are the same sights that ship on the complete FX-19 Duty Compact pistol — not a generic budget substitute. No sight installation required.
The Duty Slide ships with a factory-cut Trijicon RMR® footprint and a removable cover plate pre-installed. Run the included Night Fision® sights with the cover plate today. When you’re ready for a red dot — Trijicon RMR, Holosun 507C, 508T, or any other RMR-footprint optic — remove the cover plate and mount directly. No milling, no gunsmithing, no return trip.
The Faxon Duty Slide features refined slide serrations engineered for positive purchase without snagging on duty gear, holsters, or covering garments. Nitride finish provides corrosion and wear resistance. Does the barrel come already installed?
Yes — the Faxon Duty Series 4” barrel for Glock® 19 Gen 2–5 is pre-installed in the slide when it ships. The barrel is machined in-house from 4150 CMV steel, QPQ nitrided inside and out, and is non-threaded. This is the same Duty Series barrel Faxon sells as a standalone drop-in upgrade for stock Glock® 19 Gen 3 pistols — factory-installed here so there’s nothing additional to source.
Are the Night Fision® sights already on the slide?
Yes — Night Fision® Optics-Ready Stealth Series night sights come pre-installed on the slide. Front sight is tritium. Rear sight is cut for lower 1/3 co-witness with any Trijicon RMR®-footprint optic. These are genuine Night Fision® sights, not a generic OEM substitute. No sight press or installation tools required.
What frames does this slide fit?
This slide is designed to fit Glock® 19 Gen 3 frames and Faxon FX-19 Gen 2 frames. It is not compatible with Glock® 19 Gen 4 or Gen 5 frames (different frame rail geometry), or other Glock® frame sizes (17, 26, 43, 48). If you’re unsure whether your frame is Gen 3, check the underside of your frame for the finger grooves and absence of an accessory rail — both are characteristic of the Gen 3.
What optics fit the RMR optic cut?
The slide is factory-cut for the Trijicon RMR® footprint, which is the most widely compatible optic footprint available. Compatible optics include the Trijicon RMR (Type 1 and Type 2), Holosun 507C, Holosun 508T, Vortex Viper, Shield RMSc (with adapter), and most other optics manufactured to the RMR footprint standard. Remove the pre-installed cover plate before mounting — no gunsmithing or additional milling required. Optic not included.
What’s the difference between this and the FX-19 Duty Compact pistol?
The FX-19 Duty Compact (FX-19-D-02) is a complete, serialized firearm that includes the FX-19 Gen 2 frame, trigger, two 10-round magazines, and all components assembled and ready to shoot. It requires FFL transfer and cannot be shipped to certain states. This Complete Slide is only the slide sub-assembly — no frame, trigger, or magazines — and ships direct as a component without FFL. If you already have a Glock® 19 Gen 3 frame or an FX-19 Gen 2 frame, this slide gives you the same Duty Series barrel, Night Fision® sights, and RMR-cut slide without purchasing a second complete pistol.
Can I add a suppressor or compensator with this slide?
The Duty Series barrel installed in this slide is non-threaded and does not support muzzle devices. If you need a threaded barrel for a suppressor or compensator, look at the Faxon Hellfire Series barrel (sold separately as a drop-in), the FX-19 Hellfire Complete Slide, or the FX-19 Hellfire Compact pistol. The Duty slide serrations are also not designed for the reciprocating side forces of most compensators — a dedicated compensator-ready slide is a better fit for suppressed builds.
