Very nice barrel
This was my first barrel from Faxon. I have heard great things, and I must say that the barrels lived up to my expectations. It arrived in perfect condition and was very nice to look at as well. The finish is glossy, and adds a great look to my build. The threads were precision reamed and the chamber was very accurate. The rifling was also immaculate. The gas block that I ordered with the barrel was a precise fit as well. Overall, great barrel, good shipping times, no complaints here!

nice quality for the money
I havent gotten to the range to shoot yet so i cant comment on accuracy, but fit and finish on the barrel is superb, the barrel balences well under my geissele mk8 rail, and the geissele gas block i used fit snug, and was easy to dimple the set screws, overall i am pleased with faxon, shipping was fast and i heard good things so i figured for the price why not, and im glad i did!

It lived up to its hype
Well I ordered this barrel over Green Mountain and Ballistic Advantage and it was worth the wait. Shipping SNAFU on the first barrel but FedEx was to blame for that. I shot it today and broke it in according to directions. After break in I let 30 slow fire go down range and it shot the center out of the target at 100 yards. Worth the investment. i will be ordering a 308 barrel from Faxon for my next build here shortly.

Great Barrel at a Great Price
I purchased my Faxon barrel from Classic Arms and it has performed solidly on my build. With the 1:8 twist this barrel loves 77gr SMK's!!! It's consistent and I have confidence in the materials and craftmanship. My next build will have a Faxon barrel....aaaannnnd the next build after that....and so on!

Great Barrel
As a first time AR-15 owner, I decided to assemble my own. I was looking for a well priced QPQ barrel that was accurate. I ordered this barrel along with the gas block and have been extremely happy with the fit and finish, headspace checked out perfectly and it fit into my VLTOR upper receiver perfectly. After testing it out on the range, I've been happy with the results and will definitely buy another barrel from Faxon Firearms again. One thing that I would have liked which is extremely minor is a dimpled barrel to make aligning the bas block much easier, the gas block does not shift even without the dimple.

Good barrel for a solid price
I ordered this barrel from aim surplus not knowing much about the company and rather worried about what I would be getting since it was a rather unknown company to me before ordering. I now know these are much better quality than anything else in the price range. This barrel came packaged well and with a great finish. after installing and boresighting my home build I found this barrel to be quite accurate and extremely easy to clean, my only gripe with this barrel is it makes my gun badly over gassed not the biggest deal to me but it is definatley worth noting for the review. Even with that being said it was fairly accurate (definatley more than a CL) and I would never hesitate to buy faxon products again. Just be aware that you may need to invest in an adjustable gas block.
