FAXON MATCH SERIES HEAVY FLUTED 16" MID-LENGTH 223 WYLDE AR15 BARREL
FaxonFaxon Match Series — 16" Heavy Fluted .223 Wylde AR-15 Barrel (Mid-Length Gas)
416R Stainless • 5R Rifling • Heavy Fluted Profile • Nickel Teflon M4 Extension • Nitride Inside & Out
The Faxon Match Series 16" Heavy Fluted .223 Wylde is built for shooters who want maximum stability and heat management without giving up balance. Deep heavy flutes shave weight, increase surface area for cooling, and add rigidity for consistent groups over long strings of fire.
Starting with 416R stainless steel and 5R button rifling (1:8 twist), the bore is salt bath nitrided inside & out for superior wear and corrosion resistance. Every Match barrel is stress relieved, air-gauge tested, MPI-inspected, and headspace verified. The M4 barrel extension receives a Nickel Teflon coating for slick feeding and a tighter extension-to-receiver fit.

Overview: 16" Match Series Heavy Fluted .223 Wylde Barrel
The Faxon Match Series 16" Heavy Fluted .223 Wylde is a stability-focused, match-grade barrel engineered for repeatable accuracy. Made from 416R stainless with 5R rifling and a Nickel Teflon–coated M4 extension, it feeds smoothly, resists fouling, and maintains precision through heat. The mid-length gas system softens recoil for faster follow-ups, while the nitride treatment inside and out maximizes durability under high round counts.
