Ultra light.308 build
I used this Faxon light weight .308 pencil barrel for my ultra light weight build. I used the lightest large frame AR parts money can buy and enhanced some for weight savings to get a final weight of 3.98lbs. That’s with a 16” barrel,15” handguard and an actual adjustable butt stock and not that ugly smokes rifle stock or some goofy 10” handguard. Obviously it has an adjustable gas system so the light weight titanium bcg isn’t slamming the buffer tube. It recoils like a .300blk shooting supers. It shoots just under moa groups at 100 yards with federal power shok 150g. I have 5 Faxon barrels and they All perform excellent.

Light, and accurate
Built an AR10 type rifle trying to leep everything very light. It came out so light, I figured it would kick hard. It shoots like a dream. Everyone who shoots it wants me to build them one.

16” 308 Pencil profile
I bought this for a lightweight hunter build. The weight was perfect for the build and the accuracy was excellent. I have three friends who are doing the same build based on mine.
