Recoil magazine goes hog hunting with the 338 ARC.

Recoil Magazine set out to build a hog hunting rifle using the 338 ARC cartridge. When choosing the right parts, they chose the Faxon Firearms 338 upper receiver, bolt, barrel, and adjustable gas block. They also chose the Faxon Harmonix Ion 36 cal titanium suppressor.  

Writer Nathan Kidd praises Faxon on reliability improvements. " I think some of the credit here belongs to Faxon, as their uppers and barrels are cut with very generous feed ramps to aid in reliability."
