Perfect for any rail system, these ultra-low profile gas blocks are the ideal companion for Faxon Firearms (or any other) barrels with a standard diameter gas journal. Made from high-strength steel, all our gas blocks are a matching black luster to our barrels.
For lightweight builds, the block is drilled through the middle of the profile. The gas block clamps on to the barrel using 3 allen keys on the bottom of the block.
*Faxon Firearms highly recommends the use of Loc-Tite or similar thread-locking compounds. Gas blocks will get very hot, so pick a compound according to your intended use of the firearm.

gas block goes well with the QPQ barrel
Nice gas block, however.......I can't believe you don't include a gas block pin with the block. This omission will, unfortunately, weigh in my mind during my future purchase decisions. So, now I have to send for a. 25 cent gas block/tube pin......not a good business builder. For this, you lose a star. Faxon Staff Note: Gas tube roll pins are included with the gas tube per standard industry practice. If you order a gas tube, a roll pin will be included.

Exactly as it says
This has to be the lightest low profile gas block I've ever seen in my life. When I ordered my barrel, and it came in I wanted to see if I could tell the difference in weight between what I currently had. As I started to open the package I saw the barrel and gas tube, pulled them out along with a little bag of ("must be hardware") something, had it in my hand and kept digging. When I saw there was nothing else, I wondered where the heck my gas block was. It was in the little bag I didn't even pay attention too as I was pulling everything out. It was so small and light I never even thought that bag had anything the size of a gas block could be in there. Every unnecessary gram of metal has been removed yet still as sturdy as any other low pro block you'll find. All around great little gas block. And looks great! Another one out of the park from Faxon!

I haven't been able to use it yet but it looks great, probably thee best looking out there. Fits great on my faxon pencil barrel, cant wait to use it!

I'm very impressed with this block. Superb design and a great qpq finish make this a really attractive piece. I'm tempted to get a short enough rail just to show off the block. I also really like the three set screws and the lightweight design.

This gas block is very well fitted and the quality is some the best. What I have found to date is I cannot beat the deal of purchasing a low profile gas block that fits the barrels like these from the barrel manufacturer at this price. Best of all worlds.
