Perfect for any rail system, these ultra-low profile gas blocks are the ideal companion for Faxon Firearms (or any other) barrels with a standard diameter gas journal. Made from high-strength steel, all our gas blocks are a matching black luster to our barrels.
For lightweight builds, the block is drilled through the middle of the profile. The gas block clamps on to the barrel using 3 allen keys on the bottom of the block.
*Faxon Firearms highly recommends the use of Loc-Tite or similar thread-locking compounds. Gas blocks will get very hot, so pick a compound according to your intended use of the firearm.

perfect fit
I found this gas block to be light in weight, a good snug fit, and also I like the triple locking set screws at the bottom to ensure it stays on. I installed this on one of their pencil barrels. It is so light weight ,these two products ( Faxon pencil Barrel, and low profile gas block) made an awsome build. I look forward to using more of their products in the future.

Even nicer then expected.
I was very very impressed with this gas block. Most companies .625 gas blocks are just a standard gas block but with the hole drilled smaller. These are actually smaller all around saving even more weight. Awesome fit and finish. I would recommend these to anyone looking for a gas block for a .625 barrel.

Fit perfectly with super slim hamdguard
Ordered this gas block to go with the Faxon 16" pencil barrel of ordered from another company. It fit perfectly and it's small size allowed me to use a very slim and light handguard so the build came in at only 6.2 pounds. Fast shipment by Faxon. It functioned flawlessly when I took the rifle out the next day for the first 100+ rounds.

awesome gas block!
Love the 3 set screw design. The most important piece in the gas system 3 screws are better than 2! Tight fit for the gas tube & snug fit on the barrel. All three tolerances are perfect.

Great Quality - Lightweight - Easy to install
The gas block arrived quickly, and well packaged. The fit and finish are quite good....matches the 16 inch Faxon barrel in color. It was easy to install (Not divots in the barrel or anything specialized required, just line it up with the gas hole in the barrel and tighten down the three set screws (be sure to use some thread locker so they don't come loose.) Over all I am happy and feel that I got a great product for the money.
