Manufactured in-house, these barrels are fully stress relieved, air-gauge tested, and 11 degree target crowned to ensure superior accuracy.

Quality is imbued into our barrels from the start. We start with the best materials, either certified 4150 Mil-Spec steel or 416-R Stainless. From there, each barrel goes through a battery of tests at each operation until finished in Nitride and final inspected. All barrels are individually checked for headspace by precision custom hardened gauges.

    I love Faxon Barrels. I currently have 3 of them on various AR platforms. This one is a standard 10.5 but the fit is super nice. A little heavy weight and the barrel fits tightly to the upper. The gas block is also a tight fit but its a smooth finish. and the coating is super durable. looking forward to the next build.

    Outstanding as expected. Fit and finish are exceptional. Would prefer a Wylde chamber in this profile…no reason to ever use a 556 chamber again. Quick shipping too. Love Faxon.

    I've had this for about 4 years now, and I have to say this barrel is fantastic. Very accurate and lightweight. It makes for a great build! This was my first Faxon barrel and since then I have purchased 3 others (different lengths and I've started going with the gunner profile) and looking at a 4th! I highly recommend this for a pistol or SBR build.

    I put this on an AR pistol build and it performed very well. The thicker profile keeps from getting too hot too quick which is common on the current fad of super thin handguards. Reliably cycles even with the carbine gas system which wasn’t designed for this short of a barrel. I think this barrel also pairs well with a concussion mitigation type compensator as well as using full power 5.56 and not .223 ammunition.

    Was whacking 4" steel plates easily at 150 yds with this barrel, and quite quickly. One fun SBR!
