Perfect for any rail system, these ultra-low profile gas blocks are the ideal companion for Faxon Firearms (or any other) barrels with a standard  diameter gas journal. Made from high-strength steel, all our gas blocks are a matching black luster to our barrels.

For lightweight builds, the block is drilled through the middle of the profile. The gas block clamps on to the barrel using 3 Allen keys on the bottom of the block.

*Faxon Firearms highly recommends the use of Loc-Tite or similar thread-locking compounds. Gas blocks will get very hot, so pick a compound according to your intended use of the firearm.

Specifications (.750"):

  • Barrel Compatibility: .750"
  • Weight: .07 Lbs
  • Width: 1.00"
  • Height: ~1 & 7/32"
  • Mounting: 3x Screws (Allen Key interface)

Gas block does not include the gas tube roll pin. Faxon includes gas tube roll pins with gas tubes.

Can't complain about this gas block

Great fit and finish, looks awesome. I will say it is a very tight fit on the Faxon Socom profile barrel I ordered it with. It was a bit of a pain getting it installed, but hopefully since it is such a tight fit it will be less prone to loosening up over time. I'll post an updated review after I send some down range.

This is a gas block for a great barrel

If you want to show off your barrel, this block is for you. The lightening cutout on the side lets the barrel come through and the Melonite finish matches perfectly with high end barrel coatings. No issues at all with fitting the gas tube, or fitting the block to the barrel. All in all, it does as expected with some extra zazz.

    750 lopro gas block

This is a very nice gas block. I wish they would have dimpled the barrel that I ordered with it. I don't like running a set screw gas block without dimpling the barrel. The gas block is flawless though.

    Faxon Gas Blocks a Winner

Posted by Unknown on Sep 30th 2016

I bought this Faxon Gas Block and tube to go on my new Faxon 16" 300 Blackout Barrel. I loved the fact that Faxon went the xtra mile to use a Three(3) screw system on the block to firmly secure it to the barrel, adding a little blue Loctite on the screws to insure against possible failure. Eliminating the need to dimple the barrel really appealed to me as I hate modifying any barrel by removing the nitride finish in the process, causing an immediate place for rust to form. There was a slight invisible burr on inside of block preventing easy install, which I quickly removed simply using some Scotch Brite, which now allowed the block to slip right on. Installation of gas block and tube was a snap. From the barrel to the block, you get quality parts when you deal with Faxon. I look fwd to my next purchase from them. I will be all eyes on their website this coming Black Friday, for sure.

Nicely built and well priced, An adjustable gas valve would be an improvement for the 308.

    great quality, lightweight block

Posted by Vin on Jun 28th 2016

I was looking for a lighter gas block for a 300 pistol build and came across this one. The price was right and I've always heard good things about Faxon quality so I ordered it and am happy I did. Great machining and finish work on this gas block and the hollowed out center definitely took some weight off of it. It fit perfectly on my .750 profile barrel and looks good through the handguard.
