The Faxon 14.5" 5.56 Gunner Barrel with Pinned Gas Block removes the headache of pinning by pre-notching the journal and pre-drilling the included low-profile gas block. The result is a secure gas system that won’t shift or loosen under recoil.

Our Gunner profile blends Gov’t durability with Pencil-like weight savings, bringing balance back toward the shooter for faster transitions. Built from 4150 CMV steel, button-rifled 1:8 twist, and finished in black nitride inside & out, every barrel is stress relieved, air-gauge tested, MPI-inspected, and headspace verified.

    This isn't my first Faxon barrel, nor will it be my last. These are GREAT barrels. The accuracy is well above the price point. I feel you pay a little more, but get a LOT more with the Faxon barrels. The Gunner profiles trim weight but hold up for longer shot strings.
