The Faxon Match Series 20" Heavy Fluted 6.5 Grendel barrel brings long-range precision and unmatched durability to the AR-15 platform. The Heavy Fluted profile increases stiffness and heat dissipation while reducing overall weight, delivering superior accuracy and balance.
Each barrel is machined from 416R stainless steel with 5R button rifling for improved velocity, less fouling, and cleaner bores. After precision machining, the barrels are Nitride treated inside and out for corrosion resistance and extended barrel life. A Nickel Teflon–coated M4 extension ensures a tight receiver fit, reduced friction, and consistent accuracy.

Excellent machining, almost 6 ounces lighter than a 5.56 govt profile 20" barrel. Beautiful piece! Can hardly wait to send rounds downrange with the puppy!

Match 6.5 Grendel barrel
Nice looking barrel. Just finished building my upper so I haven’t had the chance to take it to the range yet. I have 3 different barrels of theirs and due to medical issues I haven’t had a chance to shoot any of them. But I’m expecting good results.

6.5 grendel barrel
This was my first Faxon purchase along with a Faxon BCG for my build and I’m thoroughly pleased. The accuracy is outstanding and quality craftsmen ship are second to none. I’ll be buying more Faxon products for my next build.

Has served me well.
This barrel has been great since building the rifle. It has shot every bullet I've tried in it sub MOA with typical load work up. I have since purchased a 16" 223 Wylde heavy fluted barrel that I suspect will shoot just as well.

20 inch 6.5G barrel
Absolutely love this barrel. Looks great and shoots straight. Only have been able to go out 200 yards but I’m hitting quarters! Very pleased!

Ordered the 6.5 grendel barrel. loaded up some 123 grn. bullets. Shoots a 5 shot half inch group. very pleased.

Really nice barrel, shoots as good as it looks. I've never had a bad barrel from Faxon.

Quality product, fit and finish are all top notch. Have not had a chance to shoot it yet but I expect it will be very accurate. Only complaint I have is with USPS. Priority Mail took over two weeks to be delivered.

I had an Alexander Arms 6.5 grendel years back. Faxon quality is above original. Was using Hornady match black. 2 in groupings at 100 yards. 200 2.5. That was with wind compensation. Best barrel for the money if you want to do a 6.5 grendel.
