The Faxon Match Series 18" Gunner 6.5 Grendel barrel delivers exceptional balance, accuracy, and consistency in a lightweight mid-length configuration. The Gunner profile blends the strength of a Government contour with the reduced weight of a Pencil barrel for improved handling and all-day precision.
Machined from 416R stainless steel with 5R button rifling, this barrel provides outstanding accuracy and easier cleaning. Each Match Series barrel is Nitride treated inside and out for maximum corrosion resistance and long life, and finished with a Nickel Teflon–coated M4 extension for a tighter, smoother receiver fit.

Great barrel and even better customer service
Great lightweight and accurate barrel. I had some problems getting the headspace right on my build, and faxon was extremely helpful on getting everything figured out. I can't fault them at all for the headspacing issues to begin with, as I was using a different brand bolt, and sometimes stuff just doesn't like to work together.

This went on a Grendel build and has shown sub MOA accuracy with multiple loads.

Superb accuracy
We have this barrel on Daughter’s Grendel. Even at 9yrs, she is able to display consistent and incredible accuracy with this barrel. We will be ordering another to keep on hand.

Great barrel
Bought a BCG and Barrel chambered in 6.5 grendel and have throughly enjoyed the performance of the barrel. Have had 3 shot groups that are all touching. Also works suppressed as well.

Worth the wait
I waited forever for this 18" barrel to be in stock, glad I waited. Perfect length for me, running suppressed and shoots great. Sighted in unsuppressed, I was blown away. Glad it uses the midlenght gas system. Paired with an H2 buffer, and AIM surplus BCG, no issues.

4 stars simply because it hasn't been installed yet. I fully expect it to perform up to Faxon's reputation...or I wouldn't have purchased it in the first place
