    300 Blackout ID Bands

Posted by Mike K on Sep 30th 2016

It is very easy to mix up your AR mags, potentially placing wrong ammo in your firearm, so when these ID Marker bands came along, I saw them as the perfect solution to keep from making this mistake. Now, I can instantly recognize my 300 blackout mags and if you mark your firearm with the same bands, you now have a foolproof system, assuring that you don't make a catastrophic mistake. The bands seem well made and very durable. I wish I had thought of this idea. Get you some. You'll be glad you did, especially if anyone else is using your firearms, as well.

    Work as advertised

Posted by Unknown on Sep 13th 2016

I bought bands for 300 AAC and for .223/5.56mm. These bands work exactly as expected but I also found another use! My 300 AAC upper is mounted on a lower receiver that has ".223/5.56mm" stamped into the lower left side of the magazine housing. I opened the trigger guard and slide one of the bands over the mag housing so that I covered up the stamping. I want it clear as to what caliber that gun is set-up for. I did the same thing for my .223 upper which is mounted on a lower that has "Multi" stamped into the lower left side of the mag housing.

    Avoiding Oops Ka-Boom

Posted by Rescuedogdad on Aug 26th 2016

Got these to keep 300Blk out of 556 rifles to avoid the Oops Ka-boom destruction of the rifle. The reverse maybe less dramatic but still severely hazardous to the rifle and shooter. They literally use the same identical magazines, and even though I got a different brand it would be too easy to forget which is which. They certainly look better than colored duct tape and markers. The material seems to be similar to common rubber bands, my only concern is how long will they stay pliable and not dry out. If they last at least 10yrs, worth it, if only 5 yrs I will look for an alternative.

    Mag Bands

Posted by Joe Babbs on Aug 24th 2016

These are perfect, just what I was looking for. Being that they are made of silicon they should last for quite a while. Thanks to customer service, I had a question before I placed my order and they called and emailed me back with an answer within a couple hours.

Best way to identify different magazines

Posted by Unknown on Jul 27th 2016

I have all three caliber bands and this is what I put on all my magazines for easy and fast identifications. This is a fool's proof way of not mixing calibers and most importantly being safe. Great Product!
