Great barrel for 3 Gun
I've put about 1k rounds down this barrel and it shoots well, 55 gr FMJ, 62 SP, 69 & 77 OTM. My local club shoots to 600y during 2/3 Gun matches, at the end of the stage. Using a 2 MOA red dot, this barrel shoots sub 2 MOA groups at 100y, after a 30 round HOT (magazine dump)! Friends are amazed at how light it feels with a 15" FFT as well. With a properly aligned DPMS JM Comp, the red dot barely moves. Thanks for a quality barrel.

Great for 3-gun competition, very accurate!
The accuracy of this barrel is very impressive. The 1:8 twist rate and 18" length have turned out to be the right combination for 3-gun competition. Using 55 gr IMI brand 5.56 M193 FMJ ammo I am hitting the 12" steel at 300 yds with iron sights, while many others with their expensive fancy scopes are missing. I'm not an operator or highly experienced marksman, so I chalk up the accuracy to the barrel. The 18" length is very easy to maneuver, so if you're debating between the 16" or 18" don't be afraid to go with 18".

Lightweight and accurate
This is the perfect barrel for a lightweight 3-gun rifle. The balance of the gun with this barrel is outstanding. Accuracy is good and the 1:8 twist allows for the use of a wide variety of bullet weights.

Lightweight, accurate, and well made.
Handles American Eagle xm193 well, even the particularly bad batch I purchased recently (corroded cases and one light powder charge that lead to a squib scare). Easily half the weight and group sizes of my old barrel while being softer shooting to boot. I can't be more pleased with the performance of this barrel.

Extreme value
I have nearly 400 rounds of full pressure 5.56 xm193 ammo from federal down the pipe, along with another hundred or so of federal .223 55gr fmj. Very pleased. Recoil is light, weight is ridiculously light, machining is approaching perfection, and all dimensions are in spec. Chamber is true 5.56 NATO and handles full pressure stuff with ease. Buy with confidence!
