Otherwise Excellent Barrel, But Over-Gassed
Excellent barrel in terms of fit and finish, accuracy, and ease of cleaning. My only complaint is that the gas port seems to be oversized. While my pistol cycles perfectly with an H2 buffer, the recoil is sharp and punishing. It teels like the buffer spring is being fully compressed to a solid, non-yielding cylinder on every shot. After less than 200 rounds, I'm seeing signs of abnormal wear (rounding) on the backs of the bolt lugs.

As usual the barrels from Faxon come with an obvious attention to machine work and finish. Accuracy is as expected with these excellent barrels and I will most certainly continue to add them to my builds.

Best 7.62x39 Barrel on the Market
This is a great barrel, the quality, percision and accuracy can't be beat. Ran this barrel on an SBR and Pistol, have ran several hundred rounds from Steel, Brass & handloads. Never let me down, cylced through everything like butter. The accuracy at 100 yds is pretty amazing
