    Amazingly Light

Barrel went through a tough journey getting to me (showed up in a roughed up tube after being lost in the mail), but was well enough packed to not take any damage. Threw it on a light weight build with a pinned/welded muzzle device, and managed to hit the paper at 1.5 moa at 100 yards even though I'm a (really) bad shot. I would recommend these barrels to anyone and more than likely will be buying more in the future.

    Great barrel!

What a fabulous product. I ordered mine through another online retailer as it was the only place in stock. Upon arrival I noticed the lightness of this barrel in comparison to other companies (cough voodoo cough Battle arms cough cough) this is hands down lighter and to those of us who are counting calories I mean ounces the barrel is very important. Not only that but the price of this product is much lower then those competitors competing for the same light weight builder parts. So then why did I only give it 4 stars you might ask. Well for starters my barrel appears to be slightly different then the stock photo provided by Faxon with its polished barrel insert being the obvious difference however I can understand covering exposed metal to prevent future failure. second would be the engraving which does not appear to be as nice as that which is photographed here and lastly the barrel weight which is advertised at 1.09 pounds or 17.44 ounces however on three separate scales my own personal mail scale a friends mail scale and a very accurate scale I use at work they averaged 19.29 ounces (1.205625 pounds) a full 1.85 ounces over what is advertised and for those of us counting ounces and grams that is huge! I wonder if Kaiser US rejects any barrels this far out of the advertised weight? That's the same weight I would expect for the 16" version. However with that said it is still the lightest most accurate barrel I have found at its price point and a full 4 ounces plus lighter then both those mentioned above. Would I buy this barrel again? Of course! Out of the 40+ AR's I have built over the last few years the product is simply amazing. the spread I was able to achieve was .54 inches at 100 yards using Hornady superformance GMX 55g which is my Coyote hunting ammo and what I build this rifle for.

    Perfect!!!

Fit and finish is great, very light weight. The best part is I am able to consistantly shoot .74" groups with hand loads and a red dot sight. To say I'm happy would be a gross under statement!

    WOW !!! No Regrets......

Switched out this 14.5" pencil on an upper with a 16" pencil that shot fantastic groups, Was just wondering if the shorter barrel would hold it's own. Well after a 200 round break in with green tip and a good cleaning I was thoroughly impressed. First group for accuracy was shot with the same green tip ammo and came in at 1 1/4 " using an aimpoint T1 at 100 yards. ( Shot out of a lead sled.) This barrel has found a home... Now I have to build another upper to give the 16" a place to work from. Damn the luck.
