Our valued FLAME fluted barrel improved with QPQ and with stainless accuracy. Variable-depth fluting gives the barrel fantastic performance and an unmistakable look.
Faxon Firearms barrels are the pinnacle of value. Manufactured 100% in-house from cradle-to-grave, these barrels are fully stress relieved, air-gauge tested, and 11 degree target crowned to ensure superior accuracy.
Quality is imbued into our barrels from the start. We start with the best materials, either certified 4150 Mil-Spec steel or 416-R Stainless. From there, each barrel goes through a battery of tests at each operation until finished in Nitride and final inspected. All barrels are individually checked for headspace by precision custom hardened gauges.
Faxon manufactures all our barrels in Cincinnati, Ohio under our ISO:9001 and AS:9100 quality certifications.
Great looking barrel! Customer support was excellent also. Will definitely buy here again. Unknown on 10th Jan 2017
I'm a Faxon dealer and offered this barrel for a customer who was building a 300 AAC upper. When I got the barrel I was impressed on how it looked and how light it was but I was concerned about the placement of the gas block (i.e. Carbine length most 300's are pistol length). So I called and spoke to Faxon about my concern and was told that the oversized gas port compensates for the longer gas tube length. After instal, we shot it and man were we impressed! The gun cycled very smooth and no issues.
This was the second barrel I ordered for a customer and we both have loved the look, feel and functionality.

My hat's off to Faxon this is one bad 300 Blackout build. Everybody loves the fluting on this Barrel everything about it is spot-on. The Finish the fluting the coatings everything perfect thanks Faxon for a great product and I will be back for my next build straight fluting next time can't go wrong here.

Still building this but the barrel looks awesome and seemes to be very well machined. The coating is thin in a couple of places near the butt of the barrel but other than that it looks great and I have high hopes that it will perform well. Hbone on 8th Mar 2016
